Omg, this is ridiculous now. The only way to beat Floyd is with pressure.

BJSaunders is not outboxing a master boxer.

The hysteria last night and today is comical at best.

Saunders vs. Lemieux reminded me a lot of Mayweather vs. McGregor. Slick and intellectual southpaw versus a guy who comes forward and was thought to stop his opponent early. In both fights the slick southpaw won all the rounds but unfortunately McGregor didn't have the excellent gas tank like Saunders so he got stopped, even though prematurely. Watch the first half of MayMac and that'll give you a pretty good idea how Saunders would do against Floyd, except better.

You Really Don't Know **** About Boxing if that is your measuring stick for this fight.
Maybe BJS does better because he actually understands boxing and technique but saying because McGregor was allowed to swing at Floyd with those weak placed strikes, not punches, he was throwing at Floyd is just not right.
You are just either a fan of men or a hater of men but you are no boxing fan.

Saunders at 5'11", 3 inches taller than Floyd. Reaches 71" for BJS, and 72" for Floyd.
Saunders would probably come in 20 lbs heavier than Floyd at fight time.
Saunders southpaw style allows him to win a close UD.

Since Floyd is the challenger, he would have to come forward and actually try to WIN the title. Not good situation for little Floyd to be in.

Are we actually taking this seriously? What weight is this fight even at?
Saunders cant make 147, or maybe even 154. Floyd is already small at welter, he ain't moving up.

If we are talking p4p hypothetical, floyd is the superior fighter (can't believe I actually had to clairfy that).

    At 160 BJS wins.

    Floyd is small.

I thought this thread was about Floyd in real life taking on a Big MW champ. (See Napoles' face after Monzon worked him over for 6-7 rounds).

At their peak and at 160 it's a close fight. Saunders will have a good 25 pounds on fight night. But Floyd is a master boxer.
If it happens now, Saunders win, Floyd is past it.
Floyd didn't entertain the idea of fighting Martinez when he's The Champ, so I don't think this will ever happen.
