    who wins this interesting bout in my opinion Carmen basilio is a style matchup disaster for floyd because if you look at the sheer definition those folks had back in the day basilios back muscles are like a gorillas compared to nowadays fighters. I guess I would attribute it to there being more physical jobs around at the time. But anyways in my opinion carmens resilience and will power plus technique gets the job done. imo but what are your thoughts on this fascinating bout I could be wrong on this one would like to know others thoughts on it?

    I love Basilio and have major appreciation for Floyd’s skill. To me Floyd would take a comfortable decision or at least a decision. I do think Basilio would find some success like Castillo in making Floyd exchange more than he is comfortable with. But Floyd’s defense footwork and counterpunching would lower Basilio’s output and accuracy. In a 15 rounder I might change my pick, but since Floyd didn’t fight in that era it is difficult for me to envision him in it.

    I'm assuming 15 rounds and not in Vegas, and giving it to Basilio whose pressure and volume do enough to catch the neutral judges' eyes.
