Spinks wins this. Floyd would be in there against someone more athletically gifted, faster and just as solid defensively. Cory was no Zab Judah and won't lose heart.
Did Floyd ever fight a slick fighter? Would have been interesting to see him against one that fought negatively. He ducked Winky but Winky isn't really slick, just very good defensively.
The southpaw stance and the boxing skills of Spinks would have given Floyd issues especially early on, but once Floyd makes those adjustments i see Floyd being too sharp and accurate down the stretch and wins a 117-111 type victory.
Floyd would beat him thoroughly. Corey paws with his jab. After a few rounds to adjust, Floyd would hit him with right hand leads all night long.
Floyd would walk him down with an high guard and beat him up, especially with lead right hands. Y’all are acting like Floyd’s only move is to be slick and maintain range… He’s far from my favorite fighter, but the man had plenty in his tool kit.
