Too much is being made of his fights with Matthysse and Kotelnik. I say that as well as Devon fought Lucas win or lose he gains respect from that.

He has one of the toughest fight schedules of the past couple years. You win some you lose some. Alexander is a top 10 WW, so various HOF'ers and ATG's have had softer touches during their reigns. I can think of more than a couple recent examples.

 

I genuinely don't mind Alexander, for all the **** he gets. But with one of the toughest bout schedules over recent years comes losses and "losses". Doesn't really deserve the bout.

Alexander must be fined for that. That is simply unacceptable behaviour. You sign a contract then decide to fake an injury so you can fight someone else? Blatantly. Disgraceful.

I think that even if Floyd has become 'shot' (which I think isn't happening now), he will still get a 'W' like 8-4. If it's the same Floyd that was against Cotto, I think he outboxes Devon easily and wins like 11-1 or 10-2.
