They're equally as **** as each other, but if you put a gun to my head and force me to choose, then I'd say Guerrero has the potential to make it more competitive.

I wonder IF Brook's people will sue Alexander for the "Rib injury".

I'm sure Brook is getting some "hold up" money.

Mayweather fans will buy it - if this is true it's a joke. This could be Mayweather playing games but it will be the biggest slap in the face.

Guerrero is an in your face southpaw, Mayweather doesn't like southpaws - it stands to reason he would go for an easier touch. Let's see how many Mayweather idiots decide to buy this fight

Nothing really worng with the fight per se.

The problem will be that its going to be boring, and one sided.

Its not like theres a tonne of difference in ability between Ghost and Alexander.

Its just that ghist would make it more interesting

LOL I'd only buy this fight if Pacquiao Marquez V was the undercard :yep

Seriously, only Canelo Vs Trout might be the incentive - how great of Floyd. Match Canelo V Trout to get the PPVs up and take an easy night's work himself.

Fact is even if it is Canelo v Trout I still wouldn't pay. People need to stop buying this guy's fights, he rips off the fans with poor opponents and boring sterile performances in the ring...jeez, people are idiots - to think he even gets compared to the Fab Four LOL

Alexander and Guerrero haven't earned enough to fight the no.1 guy in the sport. Mayweather constantly reminds us of how good he is, how he fought Marquez the no.2 guy after a two year lay off. In this case, i dont think he can justify it.

I think Mayweather is being a clever businessman trying to generate interest from the public about who his next opponent will be. I think he threw Alexander's name out there to see the level of interest he would get. Because he is well aware that outside of St. Louis, no-one knows Alexander. I think within a few days to a week, forums, blogs, boxing publications along with fans will be asking "What happened with Guererro?" Then BOOM...Interest in a fight with "The Ghost" just tripled!!!
