Floyd Mayweather vs. Devon Alexander!

It could be as good a fight as Bradley, but it's almost definitively not as interesting as pac. I mean, the pac fight is almost certain to end in a stoppage at this point.

I bolded the section which indicates you're a ****ing moron. There is no better matchup for Floyd, other than Canelo, than Ghost. Yet you complain about the Ghost fight?

on one hand its a unification vs a champion and its a lay off

on the other this may be his only fight all yr and while he is a title holder he isnt seen as special or a threat

Now to Devon, I think he has the speed to do it but not the defense and is poor vs counter punchers and right hands

he may be dangerous early but will lose steam as it goes on

 

Id even prefer malinagi than this stupid fight. at least the 24/7 wud be quality then. ha

Despite the fact that Trout/Sergio could fight at MW (sexy already does obv) and Canelo is a large JMW, but doesn't have the frame for 160.

Floyd is clearly a WW, so fighting another WW should be acceptable. Ghost/Alexander, etc.

I'm not in love with this fight, and am unsure if I'm buying, REALLY depends on undercard, but it's not a bad fight.

Who, in his weight class, are these other better fights? Floyd's a WW, clearly, indicative of his 151lb weigh-ins for both his fights at 154. Clearly he shouldn't even be fighting at 154. At WW, the only other option is Ghost.

Bradley and pac are Top Rank. Those fights will not happen and likely never happen. Blame Floyd all you want, but it's a Bob Arum thing imho.

Floyd / Alexander is not terrible. I do prefer Ghost though

 

I think BE put it perfectly in that last few sentences saying that nobody at 147 and down has the intrigue of the public or even boxing fans

I think Bradley is the best fight at 147

Canelo at 154

or Martinez at 160 for the grand prize but i dont think that will ever happen

 

As long as he is fighting more than once this year alexander then possibly canelo/guerrero or even bradley will be ok . If he fights once with alexander being the opponent its a load of shot to be honest and im a floyd fan

 

Mexicans will buy this because of Canelo. They gonna hype up Alexander on 24/7, Mayweather will call out Canelo at the press conferences and after the fight he is gonna take another one year vacation. Remember the Ortiz fight? Mayweather kept saying that Pacquaio is next to the media and after the fight he claimed that he never said somethng like that.
