It's funny because Hatton was undefeated, coming up in weight. Not many complaints about a fight between mutually undefeated fighters... until after the fight. JMM was ranked #2 PFP in the world. Mosley was ranked #3 PFP in the world and considered revitalized by many. The fight was believed to be a close fight by many, including JMM and Emanuel Steward to name a few. After the fight... Mosley was "old". Ortiz was coming off a great recent performance. No more no less than that. Interpreting his fights in the way in which you have, giving him credit for basically nothing, despite his continued insistence on fighting top ranked divisional foes or PFP guys COMING OFF WINS AT COMFORTABLE WEIGHTS (excluding JMM). There's really no other way to interpret his past four-five years. Your method is just so bad. Please return to watching little pinoy dick pacquiao beat up 45 year old Mosley coming off consecutive losses or against Cotto immediately after the plaster and a loss to Clottey (and it was a loss).
Apart from Ortiz, almost every Mayweather fight when announced i have been pleased with, that includes JMM, Mosley, Hatton, Cotto but this will by far take the **** if he picks Devon as his one and only fight this year
yea from what i have been reading xerant its BS besides the IBF wont sanction it or let him break contract to fight brook gotta hand it to floyd he played everyone! the reaction among fans has gone crazy today he is clearly the biggest name in boxing and has just hyped his may 4th fight without even naming a fighter lol
Alexander isn't going to make for an "exciting" fight per se', but I think he has a better chance of beating Floyd than other possible opponents. Alexander has athletic gifts that Floyd hasn't seen in a while, I could see Alexander outworking Floyd and getting a questionable split decision type victory. I don't favor him, but I don't favor anyone in the division over Floyd, but Alexander is as formidable a challenge as anyone else.
