Floyd Mayweather vs. Devon Alexander!

There seems to be zero validity to Mayweather's announcement.

Floyd is either:
1. Floating out a name to have us clamouring for Guerrero (appears to be working)
2. Guerrero is being a slut about something in the negotiations and this is a move to force his hand (unlikely).

Either way, I'd be shocked if everything wasn't wrapped up and announced by Sunday and this appears to be an effective way to get people talking about Floyd.

Or it could be a way of ****ing with Guerrero. The other day he claimed to really not know anything about him. This could be a case of pre-fight mindgames that Floyd is famous for.

From my estimations, this is just an elaborate troll. I don't MIND Alexander as a challenger, but it's certainly not the best he can take.

But if it happens, it happens. Live with it.

IBF has already declined any chances of Alexander being able to defend the strap vs Floyd. If the straps not on the line, wtf is this fight for? It's not even a unification bout anymore.

He's just doing this to bring Guerrero's name up and increase his stock.

And it's working a treat on FB/Twitter/ESB/A lot of other places.

He will take Canelo or Guerrero. Calm your asses down.

Devon stumbled a few years ago, but has grown into an explosive & exciting fighter

Haymon wants Devon to become the new black prince of boxing & Floyd is ready to hand it over

It can't b broner because Broner is too goofy, I love broner but he is not right from a PR standpoint

Devon is serious, hungry & has 1 loss which will make white people like him more

 

Man I am sick of mayweather. Why would he choose Alexander? I dont get mayweather.

 

To clarify - I mean that white people don't seem to warm up 2 ppl unless they have imperfections -

Look at the rocky movies - stallone has 2 lose b4 u start liking him

The fighters most beloved by white people - Tyson, Ali, Louis all have losses.

It's why they like Bob Dylan with the scratchy weak voice instead of strong voices like Mary J Blige

Some who kno boxing liek floyd, but most dislike him because they are accustomed 2 having a story of struggle - and floyd is the essence of perfection
