This was the other "KO" in case you guys were wondering. Augustus was fed up with the ref's antics and bias against him(which was common) and just decided he'd had enough. Clear dive.

Serious, was the ending not sketchy enough, considering Augustus's granite chin and great heart? None of those pitter pat punches even landed cleanly. He was fine while on his back as well, he'd just had enough of the bull****.

 

i dunno..... i thought maybe one of them 2 first uppercuts had to connect..


the ko was also in the final roudn of the fight so im guessing maybe he was more exausted then dazed from the punch... if you look @ his chest it was pumping heavy

 

Watch the punches thrown, very few if any land cleanly, and they're all pitter-pat punches. If you'd seen the rest of the fight, you'd have seen the injustice going on, and seen Augustus's mounting frustration. Also, if you'd seen more of Augustus, you'd know how great a chin the guy has, those punches were nothing, fatigued or not. He was just fed up. Just another odd chapter in his career.

He fought Floyd tough but wasn't winning rounds. I believe his corner stopped the fight because his eardrum was ruptured. Emanuel claimed afterward that he was pissed at his corner for stopping and got rid of them, but I believe Nelson Lopez still trained him after that.

Oh, and Emanuel has never been cleanly knocked out. One of the best chins you will ever see. Teddy Reid, who was a huge puncher at 140, tagged Emanuel with a spot on ******* of an uppercut right flush on his chin, his head looked like it would fly off. Augustus wasn't even fazed and just smiled. Amazing chin.

He won a Decision in a very close fight which some had Augustus winning. The KD was the only thing seperating them, that and the once again biased judges.

 

Micky ward went through hell fighting Emmanuel in a fight where both fighter hurt each other to the body ... so lets not act like Mikey out classed Emmanuel because he didn't and was on the verge of getting KOed by emmanuel during the fight ...

 

I watched this fight like a week ago. This was one of Mayweather's brawl fight. He also injuried his hand in this fight. He beat Augustus with one hand :good

 

Yeah he took a dive, wow. It was so clear! :-(

 

Where did you hear that he injured his hand? That always seems to be the case whenever Floyd has any kind of difficulty.

 

anytime that floyd has to sit down on his punches he hurts his hands not to say that he breaks his hands but he dose hurt them quite often ..

 

Just watch the fight, especially the last round. when he was using one had. He said it in the corner as well.
