It's hard to imagine any fighter between 130-147 from the last 20 years beating Floyd, except MAYBE prime Pacquiao.

I think Spence beats a Mayweather. And he targets the body at all times and never stops going downstairs.

Mayweather was brilliant. Despite Spence obvious class I could see him losing a clear UD to Floyd.

Prime for prime Floyd beats Spence, and Crawford as well.

I love EJ but with respect to the sparring incident sparring is not fighting.

Even Brook outboxed Spence early on, Floyd would toy with Spence, no competion...

Spence is very good but ain't getting up close to Mayweather to just lay in body shots.

Prime Mayweather was a master at measuring distance and making fighters question whether to throw first and whether they are in range.

Spence's output would drop dramatically vs Floyd as it would vs Crawford.

it was around the berto fight. floyd knew it was time to go when he was getting slapped around by the young buck. floyd never faced a package as good as spence is right now. this spence vs any mayweather, im putting my money on spence.

thats how castillo beat him, and how maidana scared him. spence is a level above both those guys. hes bigger, faster, more athletic, and more experienced vs top level fighters. floyd benefited from selective timing, and a weak era.
not saying floyd wasnt a great fighter, but many past welters would have smoked him, imo.

I can’t lie even as a big time Floyd fan I might pick Spence when you got the best boxer of this generation co-signing a 19/20 yr old Spence as THE TRUTH, I’d shudder the think what a prime Spence does vs Floyd at 147. We gotta remember 147 was Floyd’s 4th division 147 and above all time is likely where you’re going to find his toughest comp. If Spence manages to also put a demo job down on Crawford I think I’d comfortable pick him at welter at least.

I actually favor Spence. His workrate would give Floyd fits and Floyd wouldn't be able to deter him.

Oh, and Spence stopped Floyd in sparring.
