I totally agree. He missed a huge opportunity to beat some of those guys during that period and shut up a lot of people's criticisms though
Cintron Cotto Margarito Williams Quintana Clottey Mosley I think Tito at WW and LMW, Oscar at WW and LMW, Winky at MW and prime Mosley at WW and LMW are all tougher matchups than any of those guys listed. And the only one he didn't fight was Mosley. Not sure why that fight never got made. He MAY have ducked Winky at LMW for a while, as did everybody, and then fought him at MW I think and got dominated. I think a prime Tito performs as follows: KO Cintron Early TKO Cotto Late Possibly kill Margo in the ring. It would be a brutal beating. He may drop a decision to Williams. KO Quintana Early Decision Clottey Toss up with Mosley. But nobody is getting knocked out in that one. :deal :good
This aint Mosley who going to be staggering him . Trinidad was putting full fledged MWs on their ass with 1 punch . Too much power , Too physically strong , too much aggression for Floyd to endure . LIGHTS OUT for Mayweather in 5 . Tito would have been all over him from the opening bell . He can take Floyd out with either hand .
He used his legs against Hatton to hold him and work on the inside legs are more than just movement alone. He also later showed great movement on the outside in around round 9 the round before he stopped Hatton dummy. He boxed beautifully against JMM and used legs he beat JMM with skill not strength. IMO that was the last prime fight for PBF. Yeah me moved for a full 12 rounds on Baldo fool once again displaying great legs for 12 rounds but as usual you discredit it saying he ran which one is it legs or running? Hell why am I arguing with a fool who thinks PBF isn't one of the greatest defensive fighters ever? I mean you can't even give him that. Yeah he showed he had legs at WW but your hating ass will just spin and make stuff up.
What are you talking? Which fighter has Floyd fought that was better than Trinidad? Your **** riding for Floyd has gone from marginally annoying, to straight up laughable lmfao. Trinidad knocks out everyone that Floyd has fought from 147-154 with relative ease. It's fine that you think Floyd outboxes Tito. It's a very likely scenario that I can see happening. But what reason do you have for hating Tito when he's fought all challengers, had an extremely entertaining style, and was never afraid to get in the ring with anyone? I really don't understand where you're going with this.
Dummy you're talking about the version of PBF now against guys like Maidana vs the version who fought guys like JMM, Hatton and Baldo PBF was prime when he fought then. He could move for a full 12 and showed you that yet you think he didn't display it.:nut People like you love to do that with PBF using the old version of PBF saying prime for prime he would fight like that. Against Tito we're talking about a prime one not the one who faced Maidana, get it right dummy.
Oscar was better than Tito and ATG ranking is better as well. Tito is never brought up in any discussion when discussing the top fighters of that era. Mosley IMO was better as well and so was JMM. As ATGs they all rank higher than Tito.
Those 3 fights are a joke. Two little guys and a bum. He has no footspeed and no pop to keep an aggressive, big, boxer/puncher like Trinidad off of him. Trinidad will use his jab, circle Mayweather, and use the right cross to set up the left hook to the head and body and use his size to back Mayweather into the ropes. He wont even need to get to close cause hes longer than Mayweather. You make it sound like Mayweather would fight him guns a blaze. He didnt even fight that way against Baldomir
PBF wasn't prime against Mosley even still he got shook up in one round that was it, he went on to dominate the fight and shut Mosley out. A guy who looks for one punch like Tito would do against PBF doesn't have snow ***** chance in hell of beating him. Oscar had a great left hook but PBF took that punch away, Oscar only had real success with real his jab.:deal PBF will take that punch away and he will be losing rounds getting outboxed doing so. PBF is superior to Tito in every department except power and size and beats any version of him.:deal
:rofl:rofl I just love how you keep bringing up those three fights. It makes you look like a true boxing scholar especially if you are using those fights as a measuring stick to guage how he would do against Trinidad. None of those guys are similiar in style, physicality, or punching power to Trinidad
:rofl Tito doesn't have the boxing ability or the footwork to outmanuver PBF to circle him I won't even go into the lack of ring IQ. You're talking about a boxing match with that gameplan he wouldn't have shot in hell of pulling that off. You're basically saying he's going to outbox the outboxer you've lost already give up.:yep:hi:
You're right man. I'm sorry for questioning your boxing knowledge. Trinidad beat Whitaker who's higher in the ATG rankings than Mosley, JMM and Oscar. He also beat a prime Oscar and Camacho. Camacho being the guy who beat top 10 ATG's Roberto Duran and the only man to knock out Ray Leonard.. :nut But even so, Trinidad goes through Floyd's resume and loses to all of them. Including the fat midget JMM, a shot Mosley, Ricky Hatton and Judah. Floyd goes through Trinidad's resume and beats all of them. Floyd, the ATG in fantasy match ups.
If Mayweather wasnt prime, what the hell was Mosley? And Trinidad at ww was not a one punch puncher. But then again you wouldn't know that
:rofl Its embarrassing isnt it. He is some how suggesting Marquez, Hatton, and Baldomir would be a nightmare for a prime Trinidad at ww which suggests Mayweather would beat Trinidad via a crushing ko.
