Big Macho Man fan, he doesn't get talked about anymore it seems. He's become underrated and his abilities forgotten.

He has the speed, smarts, and style to take Mayweather out of his comfort zone and score a close upset decision.

And then what happened? It's a sign of mental weakness.

Floyd has faced adversity such as in the first Castillo fight, the Chavez fight (one of many where his hands gave out), the Judah fight (look at the fouls), and the Shane fight. He always comes back harder and that's why he's been around so long.

for the purposes of this thread, I'm assuming were talking about prime Camacho, not post Rosario Camacho. Floyd didn't have the power at 135 Rosario possessed, so I doubt he'd hurt Camacho.

Pre-Rosario Camacho was all fighter and he was damned intuitive at the correct moments. Rosario sort of changed up all of that. Against a sharp and hard hitting 130 pound Mayweather, we'd have a tactical contest for the better part of the rounds but at some point sheer greatness, one would think, would make an appearance. Would it come down to who would be willing to gamble? Did somebody have an extra gear? Or between them, did one of them have an eye for combat that many didn't recognize or understand, and would that eye provide an understanding for a sudden change in tactics, enough to throw off any other momentum and clinch victory?

He stopped Burton, Corrales, Hernandez, and butchered Gatti around that weight, give or take a few pounds. Floyd had stinging power and there's a reason why one fighter was able to change Camaho's mindset.

This wouldn't just be "Macho Time" where he'd waltz in and throw a bunch of flurries. It would be fought on even terms, at a much slower pace than Camacho would be used to, until Camacho would get thrown off his game by Floyds technical superiority, and sharp punches, and Camacho's muted offense...shades of the Judah fight.

Camacho easily....Hector is faster and he actually hit harder, and Floyd isnt busy enough....and i disagree that Floyd was the superior fighter peak to prime Camacho was a very special fighter....
