He was like a better version of Sharmba Mitchell or Corley, both of whom modeled themselves after Camacho. Corley was a true 140 and carried a little more power than Camacho. Ditto Judah. He lost or scrapped by in most of his big fights. I think of the hook Rosario nailed him with and then I think about how Corrales couldn't touch Floyd with a similar hook despite it being one of his signature punches. The skill gap is too big for Canacho to anything more than annoying to Floyd.
Until around about Rosario Camacho was electric. He'd be a handful for anyone that ever boxed. He only went downhil from here.
