His style is somewhat similar to Cotto's.

However, you have a fighter not as good as Cotto facing a younger, fresher, arguably better version of Floyd. So, it's just not a reasonable comparison in my opinion.

Cotto's just about as good as anyone Floyd's ever fought.

Bruseles is among the worst opponents on Floyd's largely mediocre resume.

    So no.

ODLH had much more experience on the elite world class level than Cotto(e)

DLH's era was filled with way more talented fighters tho. That being said, the version of Oscar that Floyd fought would probably own the current JrMW division.

Bruseles is a horrible comparison....Miguel is being seriously underrated on this one.

Absolutely not. Bruseles is about a fifth of the fighter Cotto was and isn't nearly capable of giving the variety of looks that Miguel can.

Cotto shits all over Bruseles. Not even comparable.

I went back to watch the fight and totally never realized Evangelista Cotto trained Bruseles. So that might explain why they did sort of fight similar.

Given, that was 7 years ago and Cotto has since switched trainers. So given the changes to both fighters since, I don't see it going down like Mayweather-Bruseles.

While you may not be a Floyd fan, to call Floyd's resume mediocre is ridiculous.

Very under-rated, but more so only by people who aren't particularly Floyd fans.

History will look different to your opinion on Floyd's resume.

Man, Cotto is a 3 division champ with a 37-2 (30K KO's) record, has faced all of the top fighters in and around his weight classes, only losing to a cheater and the P4P #1/1b fighter in the world, and now since he's fighting Floyd he's being compared to Henry Bruseles??? This **** is hilarious. Cotto is being vastly underrated.
