Yeah Floyd always loses in hypothetical fights but in real fights he simply wins.

That is why I said "Money" Mayweather genius

Even in his PBF days he was no G-man or Hawk to put a guy like Barkley in hospital

Like he won against Castillo the first time?

If you fight the right guy at the right time at the right place, you can always "win" & that defined his whole career. The major contribution of Floyd to Boxing is to teach Boxers on how to protect the 0 by avoiding any risks because if you have that 0 then apparently you are TBE

This is a guy who is shamelessly insinuating VADA enrolled Inoue is on PED's & that he needs to come fight in US (though he already did 3X) while he himself *never fought outside Vegas for his big fights* & *never outside US*

Duran in the 70’s is arguably and most probably the best fighter in the=history of boxing however the hypothetical is not Duran vs Barkley but Floyd vs Barkley. I think what we can agree is both much more skilled than Iran the Blade Barkley.

Vegas is the capital of world boxing so he did not need to fight away did he in his professional career where you fight for money. As ann amateur he fought abroad representing the USA. Everyone comes to Vegas. He fought and beat 24 world champions in a flawless career. No need to get salty. He was the right guy and the wrong opponent for everybody. Floyd taught fighters how to get the bag and his boxing career is a case study in top business schools. It’s not a surprise his mentor Al Haymon degrees in economics and MBA fro: Harvard.

Yeah cortez really did Barkley dirty that fight. Possibly robbed him of a hof ballot spot bc if he beat Duran that's three victories over 2 of the four kings. Also he possibly gets a SRL fight though the rumor is SRL didn't want that smoke, though that's coming from Barkley's people in a documentary about him..

You thought Hearns won the rematch vs Barkley what ? Hearns got dropped his nose broken and was bullied all night long, theres not a snowballs chance in hell Hearns won that fight and you're the only person I've ever seen make such a claim.

As for Sanderline Williams ? He was a very durable journeyman who could give anyone a tough night, he drew with James Toney and a lost a very close split decision to Nigel Benn. I guess they're bad fighters aswell for having close fights with Williams ?

Marcos Maidana never had the skills of Mayweather yet still pushed him all the way based on his non stop aggression. No way Mayweather is having an easy time against a huge 6'1 big punching Middleweight.

Mayweather fought technically at Jr Middleweight 3 times and never weighed in at 154 limit. He was 151 pounds x2, 150 pounds. Mayweather was not a big man and suggesting he could move up to Middleweight and be as effective, and beat a huge 6'1 Middleweight when he never even technically made Jr Middleweight limit is a bit of a stretch.

I'd take Floyd, but Floyd would never take the fight. Never. Not ever.

    1. Mayweather was 37 against Maidana.
    2. Canelo's in-ring weight was similar to Barkley's and Canelo was better than Barkley.

We've had this discussion before Mayweather looked like a million bucks vs Canelo, yet in his very next fight had a close fight vs Maidana who isn't as skillful as Canelo which means styles make fights.

Canelo is more skillful than Barkley yes but at Middleweight Barkley poses more of a problem than Canelo at catchweight, based on Barkley being a very aggressive fighter that wouldn't try to box with Mayweather plus it's a Middleweight not catchweight/Jr Middleweight.

Mayweather never made Jr Middleweight limit theres no evidence to suggest he would be better at 160, infact he'd probably be slower with the extra weight with less footwork leaving him vulnerable to the bigger man wailing away at him.

Look what happened to Hearns when he tried to lay on the ropes vs Barkley he got beat up.

Duran could hit with authority and wasn't afraid to take his lumps if it meant making the other guy respect him.

Mayweather gets his eggs pre-cracked or he couldn't make breakfast.

That's all you need to know.
