Floyd Mayweather vs jake lamotta at 154 15 round

LaMotta would have a hell of a time cutting to 154. Guy was a massive middleweight and routinely fought Light Heavyweights. That being said, in this era of day-before weigh-ins, he could probably do it without too many problems. Ortiz was entering the ring at about 160 lbs when fighting at 140, so why not? Anyway, Floyd's a better fighter than LaMotta, but that's strictly on a P4P scale. The size difference here is just way too much for Mayweather to overcome (especially the 154 version of him). He'd simply get walked down and swamped by Jake, who was not only much bigger than the likes of Cotto or Castillo, but a full class above as a fighter in general. It's not a fair match up at all, really.

Floyd lost to Castillo, shot DLH, and didn't really wrest the belt from Cotto. He's also currently ducking Pac, as he had ducked Tszyu, Marg and a whole lotta boxers in past. Any questions, stupid or otherwise?

 

Lamotta has much better agressive defense than Cotto, he's bigger than Cotto, he routinely went 15 rounds, he's stronger than Cotto.

Robinson who has KO power in both hands couldn't put a dent in Lamotta until the last fight. I think Lamotta may stop Mayweather. Too big, too much stamina, too much punch resistance.

Mayweather is not going to beat the top middleweights of all time. He could beat some, but Lamotta is the wrong style.

 

And lose?

Tough one to call could go either way, I'll take lamotta by a close decision coming on strong late and taking 4 of the last 5.

 

Lamotta was about Floyds height with a shorter reach and not very fast, but if you couldnt hurt him, which I dont think Floyd could, he'd wear you down and was very strong. Much stronger than Cotto. He'd just keep coming at Floyd walking threw his shots, Floyd winning first 4 rounds landing his best shots, but LaMotta attacks him nonstop, and had heavy, heavy hands.
