A classic boxer vs. brawler match-up. Does Floyd have enough to beat Mandingo?

Floyd beats him up faster than Ishida.......FACT!!!

James Kirkland sports one of the worst jaws in boxing history!!!!

Not a fact. If his jaw was so bad he never would've got up from the shot Angulo delivered. His jaw is by no means great, but it's obvious the Ishida fight was a fluke. Goes to show how important it is having Wolfe train him.

.... how was it a fluke? LOL?

Did his jaw suddenly turn into dog **** for that 1 fight?

    No

His jaw is terrible, Ishida exposed him for being a glass jawed fraud.

Fact: Ishida has 0 power, none!

I could punch harder than Ishida.

So then how was he able to get up from a great shot from a known puncher and continue on to beat the **** out of him if his jaw was so shitty? If the Ishida fought the Kirkland that fought Angulo, that fight would have been completely different. You could tell Kirkland wasn't the same in that fight. And I'm sure a lot of people could punch harder than boxers but so what? Do you know how to set up that power or are you just talking about standing still and hitting something? Don't deflect from the topic.

You're deflecting from my initial point....if Kirkland's jaw wasn't bad... how did he get knocked out by someone who couldn't break a potato chip with his hands.....

There's no such thing as luck for chins..........

    :hi:

Amir didn't get knocked out by Maidana, but his jaw..... yeah....need I say more?

I don't know how he got knocked out from someone like Ishida but then goes on to not get knocked out from a harder punch from a harder puncher. It doesn't make sense but there's gotta be something behind it. I just know in the Ishida fight he physically looked horrible. When he's with Ann, he's trained to hell and back. I don't know if that's somehow helps him, but it's gotta be at least considered.

Amir didn't get knocked down by Maidana... does that mean his jaw is good?

    No, these things happen.......

There was nothing behind it.... stop your conspiracy theories.

He was knocked out in 1 round by someone who couldn't knock out a lightweight....:rofl

It's not a conspiracy. Just find it odd the one fight he's not with Wolfe, he gets stopped. Oh well.

Kirkland had a cold chin, he can be hurt & dropped early but should he get through that early trouble he walks through bigger shots, kind of like Trinidad & Marquez.

I don't think Floyd punches hard enough to keep Kirkland off him & does he have the legs to move for 12 rounds?

Interesting match up. I think Kirkland may be a bit too big and relentless for Floyd.
