Mayweather. If you pick Lacy, you're a hater.

Prime Mayweather weighs about 135. You'll take that over Lacy? :huh

i cant believe some people are picking mayweather... lol...

on fight night jeff would probably outweigh mayweather by 20lbs, and could simply spend his time body punching the part of mayweather that will be there to hit, the body... and believe me, jeffs power punches to the body would by the 9th round (if it even went that far) have mayweather battered imo.

You guys who say jeff lacy sucks, you guys need to wake the hell up... and thats the truth. He may no longer be elite... but he was before JC beat the hell out of him, but hes still close to a world class fighter.... and if he used even a semi decent strategy he would beat mayweather.

You bring up a good point. Lacy is horrible these days, I mean horrible. He barely won against Manfredo and that was a Manfredo who was sick or whatever it was at the time and a **** version of Manfredo.

Lacy has slipped alot, the Lacy of the Reid fight would have taken Manfredo out under 4 rounds gauranteed.

Being that Lacy is really that ****, I think it is plausible for PBF to come in at 156ish and just run all night and pop shot like he did in the Baldo fight to win a boring UD.

Lacy was horrible last fight. Did you see the Manfredo fight and how much he slipped?

He was stiff as hell, afraid to let his hands go and very slow. I dont know what it was but he was terrible and Manfredo wasnt 100 percent himself either.

I was a big supporter of Lacy, he is from my area, I want him to be successful and get back to the top but he looked terrible last time. I give him one more chance and then he should retire.

Much of the reason that Lacy wasn't landing on Calzaghe was because of Calzagh'es own offensive output. Lacy was getting his ass handed to him. If you think Mayweather is going to stay in there like Calzaghe you are very, very wrong.

Do you think lacy would go in there with the same gameplan against jc as he would mayweather? against JC he had to manage himself because of JC's crazy, if not powerful, offence himself.... lacy was reduced to often throwing one punch at a time then eating punches

against mayweather he would simply bullrush him, and tee off on his body. He would be stupid to try and hit mayweather in the face.... just pound his body. Im sure any trainer would make that gameplan for him to follow as well.

lacy is slow and doesnt throw many punches? im curious, have you seen lacy fight pre tsypko? he was not that slow and threw plenty of punches... i cant believe you think the fight would look like the baldomir fight...

Yes, but you used Joe as an example of a fighter Lacy couldn't get to. You cant just run and pot shot a fighter all night with this size difference without mixing it up to a degree. Even glancing blows, jabs that land on shoulders, clinches, its going to sap the **** out of Mayweather.

How you guys compare a 147lb Baldomir to a 168lb Lacy dumbfounds me.

Your post is basicaly the same that I answered earlier today so I will just leave it at that.

Here goes the clean shot business again, as if boxing is a video game in which you get bonus points for clean shots.

Every fighter who has ever fought Floyd has landed punches on him, its a part of boxing. Lacy will also land punches, and the impact of those punches would be substantial whether landed square or not. It would be apparent the first time he landed anything on Mayweather that it was going to be a long night.
