My first time watching it earlier today.... Before i say how i judged it i think there were a lot of confusing things about this fight and how it could influence your final interpretation of what the final outcome...

#1 - Announcing - the announcing made things confusing as they always do because they announce things as they want them to and sway the viewer's opinion of whats going on... there were times that Castillo were throwing punches that were not landing from what i could see and the announcers were going crazy

#2 - Punch stat conter - The punch stats from the first 5 rounds would indicate that floyd won 4 out of the 5 first rounds but kellerman had something completely different & the official judges had something completely different as well because they scored the fight a blow out

#3 - The officiating - even though there were 2 point deductions it didnt help make the fight any clearer to complete "your" decision... although "your" decision really means nothing because none of us are officials...

i watched the fight trying to think like a floyd hater ... and with that being the case i felt i could have scored that fight for castillo by like 4-5 rounds.. but i also tried to watch it being a floyd fan and i could see myself with a score like the official judges... but although i am a big floyd fan i never let my personal feelings blind myself to the truth.....

    and in my eyes

the truth was floyd mayweather won that fight by 1 round.... in my eyes

how do you guys feel about this fight?

I didn't have a problem with the decision, Castillo took forever to get going. He gave away too many rounds and didn't dominate all the rounds afterwards to make up for it.

Compubox means ****, I have no idea why people try to use it as a real argument for someone winning.

I had it 7-5. I had PBF winning the first 5. JLC started coming on, he was holding & throwing & those tactics got him back in the fight. PBF felt he was in trouble because JLC was winning the second half of the fight & the judges may score off of what they remember last. PBF knew he was in trouble, thats why he switched to southpaw stance. But I had PBF 7-5.

Oh yeah, as for the crowd thing, that just works against PBF as usually. Similar to the DLH fight when everytime DLH made contact with PBF, the crowd started going all crazy everytime JLC made contact. But contact doesn't mean much to those judges if you're not landing. If those same judges would've scored the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight, Hopkins would've gotten the decision.

JLC clearly won. Now 6 years later people are trying to act like FLoyd is a invicible master. He should have lost his "0" years ago. C'mon the fight wasn't even that close and Floyd was the contender.
"Walk with me" you are a bum. I'm pretty sure you've never seen this fight. You are trying to interprate the Punchstats in FLoyds favour. SO stop talking about Kellerman, who wasn't a announcer back in these days. haha It makes you sound like an idiot.
WATCH THE FIGHT, take of the Floyd fan-clothes.

Castillo didn't land???? C'mon he broke FLoyd down round 4 round. So i guess be broke his rips by hitting the air. ThE DLH-fight was something completly different because OScar didn't land ****.

The Crows as well... I mean there was a lot of factors that could have swayed someones opinion either way... I guess that's why floyd took the immediate rematch ... i felt a lot of what castillo was throwing was getting blocked

He still would've got the win because its not about how much you can throw, its what you land & how you land. Hopkins wasn't doing much, but activity isn't the only factor in a fight

Yeah, but I dont believe in that method, and it shouldn't be applied in scoring boxing matches.
