Anyone else think Chavez would have this one in the bag?

Dont under estimate Floyd. Although its Chavez is a great to just put off Floyd like that is stupid.

If you think he'll just have it in the bag, you're dumb.
A tough fight & very winnable, yes, but just in the bag, :rofl

Bad style match-up for Chavez, in my opinion. Too hard to call. I'm sitting on the fence.

Floyd by TKO sorry, Chaves is way too sloppy for Floyd.

I don't think any Lightweight in history stops Chavez, let alone a light hitting one.

I can't get Mayweather vs Castillo out of my head when thinking about this match-up. Castillo is a lesser version of JCC, and I honestly felt like he beat Mayweather.

Well, you gotta really ask yourself, how hard does PBF hit? I wouldn't consider his punching at 135 "light", IMO he had good power, on a scale of 1-10 I'll give him a 7.5, nothing too special. But what you have learned by now and you must remember, the shots that hurt the most are the ones you don't see, and PBF can definetely deliver those.

Honestly, I don't think he would stop him either. I just can't see Chavez being stopped in his prime at all. But in any fight involving PBF, PBF doesn't depend on his power to hurt his opponents, its his smart thinking, accurate punching that really does the trick.

No argument from me if you think Floyd wins the fight. We know that styles make fights, and Chavez had trouble against Taylor and Pea, both good boxers with fast hands.

Taylor had NO DEFENSE and he still should have won that fight Widdow...

Chavez vs Floyd would have looked alot like Chavez vs Whitaker.

And another thing, chavez once said of Castillo "He is a younger, bigger stronger version of me" I wouldnt call Castillo a poor mans Chavez, I would call im a bigger version of Chavez...But I always thought that Chavez was a tad overrated...His in ring accomplishments didnt measure up to his hype and out of ring credit..He fought alot of bums...A whole ****ing lot of bums.

    This is what always happens.

You can make your prediction, either way, but you still maintain respect for both fighters. Let's not get into the proven debate either. Chavez fought and beat better opposition than Floyd has during his career. The way a young Chavez put together combination's to head and body was certainly special, and he is an all time great, irrespective of how he was brought along.

I would say Floyd wins a competitive decision, but both were great fighters.
