How the hell can this fight look like PPBvs JLC I & II when PBF won both of those fights? And he clearly beat JLC in the second fight, can you explain that to me.

NOTE: My bad for disrespecting you bro, you are a cool poster.

Because JLC style derives from JCC. JCC is a much much better version of JLC, and both fights were close, even the second one. So if JLC can arguably win the first fight, than JCC can defitnately win it as he is a much more polished fighter skill wise, defensively and offensively.

I can't believe we're even talking about this topic together. Are you serious?

Actually I stopped posting because I had work to do. I look at this fight like I do all fights I make predictions on. Break down the fighter's strengths and weakness and look at the stylistic match ups and like I said before that's why I favor PBF in this fight. He has the styles advantage due to the handspeed advantage for example beating JCC to the punch. Footwork advantage being able to move and throw while not having your feet set to punch. Also throw from more angles and be in a better postion to counter or attack. Defense the ability to make your opponent miss. Ring Generalship the ability to dictate the pace of the fight and be the boss in the ring. All of these things are clearly in PBF's favor while the things that are in JCC's favor like Power and workrate can be negated by PBF easier than the things in PBF's favor. That's why I pick PBF to win this matchup. Not only that 9/10 times the boxer beats the brawler.:smoke

Number 1 - Chavez is better than Castillo.

Number 2 - Castillo arguably beat Floyd in the first one.

Number 3 - Floyd didn't exactly walk to victory in the second Castillo fight.

You read point number 1 wrong, Floyd arguably won. And your breaking down of both fighters strengths and weaknesses is awfully biased. All's you basically did was list Floyd's strengths and a couple of Chavez' attributes. Nevermind the fact that he put punches together better, had a better defense, and was probably better at cutting off the ring than Castillo as well. You think Floyd would be able to get away with going into a shell against the ropes with Chavez like he did Castillo? Think again. Nevermind the fact that Floyd was having trouble even letting his hands go.

I listed the departments that JCC had the advantage at. Workrate and power if you think he has the advantage in other departments then name them. I think you're missing the point of this. My breakdown was that of PBF-Chavez not JCC-JLC.

What you've failed to list is the weaknesses that Floyd has shown. It's easy to just assume that a slickster will always beat a come forward, brawlerish type. I mentioned Castillo to gauge why I feel Chavez would beat Floyd, so don't twist my words around. ;)

And I already mentioned other advantages.. Chavez' ability to cut off the ring, putting punches together to the body and head, and Floyd's inability to cope with that as shown against a similar, lesser fighter to Chavez in Castillo.
