Using Castillo as a gauge, Chavez by decision. However, as Chavez struggled with 'pure' boxers, who knows. Maybe he catched up to Floyd late like he did Taylor, maybe he never catches up like with Sweet Pea.

Personally, I would hope to see Chavez smash Floyd up badly.

But I'll go for a draw, six rounds apiece.

As much as I dont like Floyd for his stupid cherry picking I would have to say that at 135 it would be a tough fight for him and I could invision him getting off pretty good but I see Chavez also fighting strong all the way to the final bell. It would probably be a very close split decision, no way does Floyd just walk away with this. It would be stupid to think that. Chavez would probably take everything Floyd had to throw at him and still keep coming. At 130lbs, thats all Floyd, not at 135lbs though...

Chavez would win this one. Floyd would start off well and look great but Julio would start to hit him in the mid rounds and stop him around round 10,and if he did not stop him he would win a UD. Floyd cannot hang with a real fighter like Julio. A guy who could have beaten Chavez stylewise is more Shane. Shane is strong and he could maybe make Chavez move back. Floyd could not back up Julio.

JC Chavez is a lot better than Castillo and Pernell Whitaker is better than PBF.

Result, Chavez wins pretty easily. Chavez style is all wrong for PBF. Chavez will put on the pressure and get on the inside where he fights better than this kid.

Castillo always said that it was an honour to spar with Chavez and that Chavez is a lot better than him.

The thing is any time that Floyds name comes up in one of these fantasy matchups, half the guy that have posted on this thread also says that Floyd will lose...According to them Floyd cant beat anybody..He cant beat any fighter that he hasnt already beat, and cant beat a couple of guys that he has already beat...Its pure hatred, these guys that Im talking dont look at styles or anything eles, they know they dont like floyd so he would lose...

truth is Chavez never did well vs boxers, in some cases not even very good ones....

And Castillo I doubt ever said that Chavez was way better then him, he was young when he sparred with Chavez, and no young fighters thinks that any old dude is way better then him...He respected JCC, he looked up to him, but he, im sure felt that as a fighter he was just as good or better.

    Chavez by KO.

Chavez had trouble with Whitaker at 147, and Taylor's offensive style gave Chavez fits, but it also enabled Chavez to brutulize him like no one else could have.

Chavez beat some of the fastest fighters like Camacho (easily), who arguably was faster than Floyd. He beat Taylor to a pulp who had faster hands and combinations than Floyd.

Chavez easily beat some of the hardest punchers like Edwin Rosario.

Floyd's hands are to fragile to do any real damage to Chavez. And at 135 it would be nothing like Whitaker-Chavez since Mayweather and Pernell are not similar in style.

It would be like Castillo-PBF I and II, only that Chavez is LEAGUES ABOVE Castillo.

I'm sure it's because their fighting style is completely different. Offensively and defensively. Just watch a couple of each fighters fight, and you can see.

The only thing they have in common is the color of their skin.

I've always said PBF would beat JCC at any weight 130, 135, 140 or 147. Chavez would get beat to the to punch countered and given a boxing lesson. much like he was against Pea. PBF by UD:deal
