Not denying that, but we are talking about how Floyd looked at the weight. He looked masterful, maybe it was the comp but you could see a certain pop in his punches that he didnt have at other weights.

Camacho Taylor and haugen B LEVEL FIGHTERS?????

    what a crap!

Taylor in his prime ( the one who fought JCC ) was an elite figther, And Camacho for sure is better than Gatti, Castillo, Corrales and co

Considering his opponents, Gatti, Brusseles and Corley, I think you hit the nail on the head!

He's better than Gatti. Castillo and Corrales would pound him worse than Rosario did.

 No. Camacho at 130 was A level. He was an average fighter above and lost most of his big fights above that weight pretty wide. Haugen was never more then a B level fighter and thats being gracious.
Who did Taylor beat to deserve elite level status? I think he would have had a better career if his body was devastated by Chavez, but in actuality the only notable name on his resume, is James McGirt.

I do think Camacho compares favorably to Corrales at 130. But that was his best weight and he was not the same afterwards once he lost his amazing speed.

Camacho, as much as I disliked him, would have boxed circles around Castillo and Corrales!

I'd favor Macho against Corrales at 130. But CAstillo at lightweight? Think Rosario, but worse.

The 2nd fight is exactly the fight you should look at...even a fully fit, better prepared Mayweather only just beat a poor man's Chavez..he still packed up shop for long periods in that fight and probably got tagged more in those two fights then all his other title fights combined.

Dont even worry about the first Castillo-Mayweather fight..the 2nd one is all you need to look at.

Mayweather just isnt as a good a fighter his fans seem to think he is.

Castillo gave Mayweather all he could handle on the inside.

    Chavez inside game>Castillo inside game.

Mayweather beat Castillo easier the second time because he stayed on the outside, thing is though Chavez is tremendous at cutting the rind down on you.

Taylor kept Chavez playing defence because the threw **** loads of punches at him, not that he was hurting him but just keeping him occupied playing defence. Floyd is not that type of high volume fighter.

I honestly believe Whitaker's Southpaw stance was a huge factor in why Chavez found it so hard to pin him down, i think had Whitaker been an orthodox fighter you would of seen a much more competitive fight.

Mayweather vs Chavez that fought Rosario? he would give Floyd pure hell.

PBF is much better than Meldrick Taylor and is as good as or better than Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whittaker. Chavez is one of the best ever period. I would actually like to see this as a trilogy which PBF would win 2-1 but in a one off I would go for PBF on points who is even more exceptional against Mexican types and style.

I think PBF would give Sugar Ray Leonard and the great Benitez an argument. I think he would have had his hands full with Hearns and Duran I am not sure because Duran had a psychological hold over everyone that even Hagler refused to go toe to toe with him.

Unlike Taylor PBF would move all night and counter Julio. This fight would be similar to Chavez./Whitaker not Taylor/Chavez. If the judges are unbias PBF would win a close decision.

Chavez. His inside game was better than Floyd's, too aggressive, accurate, and strong. Floyd does not have the firepower to keep JCC off him.

It would be similar to Hector Camacho against Chavez.
Chavez chased camacho out of the ring.
Mayweather would have been seriously hurt against
    a prime Chavez.

No slow handed fighter with poor defense will beat PBF where he can beat them to the punch counter and hit them easily and take less in return. PBF by UD:deal
