I'll say this much...... Lara would be a MUCH tougher fight for Floyd than Cotto will be.

I hope this happens in the future. Lara needs to beat a bigger name first b4 it happens though

From the shoulder roll standpoint, a southpaw straight left is a little harder to see coming than from a normal stance, particularly from a high caliber fighter like Lara.

Lara's main problem will be Floyd's jab. Lara will have to establish his jab over Floyd's to get his left hand in. Floyd's movement will also make it tough to time.

Floyd aint fighting Lara. High risk, low reward. Never ever gonna happen.

After Cotto, Floyd will fight Alvarez. That's a high reward (money wise), low risk fight for him.

He beat Paul Williams, WE ALL KNOW THIS.

He's definitely an elite @ LMW. I say he goes beats the **** out of Kirkland/Molina again, possibly make the move to 160 since Alvarez/Cotto won't ever take the fight against Lara and beat Lee

Lara looked like a ****ing beast tonight! Damn near killed Hearns.. Lara is better than Cotto IMO! I Hope he gets a big fight with Floyd, Martinez or Kirkland soon!

It's hard to gauge Floyd's reflexes against a shot Mosley, and that joke Ortiz.

Lara would be the quickest, most skilled fighter Floyd has faced in years.

From 147-154, Lara has the best chance of beating Floyd bar NONE.

He has a better chance of beating Floyd than Pacman would.

What movement? He's a sitting duck for straight left hand because he doesn't pivot away to a different angle to avoid it. I think Lara is very underrated defensively and has good skills. I honestly think Lara would beat him. Lara knows how to set up the straight left hand very precisely and accurately. Two counter-punchers and great technicians, it'd be a great competitive fight.

Obviously, Pacman is an exceptional 135-140 lber who has beaten bigger elite fighters but will always be handicapped by his size against the elite WW-JMW.

I'd like to see Kell Brook at some point take on Floyd. Nice jab, good right hand, great timing but occasionally sloppy with his defense. Once he polishes up his defense, I don't see anyone below Floyd beating him.

Lara is a beast...but he isn't tested to the level that Cotto is tested...

Hearns is not a great win...good win maybe...Floyd would outbox Lara at this point...Slugger just mad that Ortiz got knocked out.
