    floyd mayweather by far.

Pacquiao fought better "names" but they were just that... names
Floyd fought all LIVE DOGS that didn't have names.

Bradley alone is a better scalp than just about anybody Floyd has ever fought.

Pacquiao takes on top 5 welters. Mayweather takes guys out as soon as they enter the rankings at #10

Ortiz, Guerrero, and Maidana were total joke fights when you look at the fighters ranked above them.

Torrecampo and Singurat alone give Pac a big edge over Floyd in terms of resume. Hussein and his jab alone ranks up there with the best shots ever landed on Pac. Even better than anything Floyd has ever been hit with.

lol there is not even a debate. Like the poster above me sayd an undefeated rank 3 p4p Bradley beats anything Mayweather got. And thats not even his greatest. Prime Ledwaba, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Márquez, Morales are some of the best wins in history of boxing.

Whats Mayweather best win? A 40 year old Mosley? A 40 year old Hernández. There is not a single elite fighter in his prime on Mayweather resume. not a single one.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, in FMJ's resume would ever come close to having beaten Barrera twice, Morales twice and Marquez twice.

    Nothing.

Barrera was absolute prime when he lost to Pac the first time. Lineal title for Pac too. Still pretty close to prime when he lost to Pac the second time around.
Morales was still very near his prime when he lost to Pac. To deny this is to **** on the god that is Morales.
Marquez arguably lost the first fight and IMO lost the 2nd fight too. Prime both times or very near prime.

The difference between their competition isn't great. Say Pac fought the exact same fighters at the exact same time he has but all of his losses/draws/close bouts were all decisive wins, then without question he would be ahead in terms of resume. But that is not the case. However that is not the question, so the answer here is clearly Pacquiao that has fought the better competition as he is also adding a P4P champion to his list of opponents faced in 6 weeks.

Prime Ledwaba is one "of the best wins in history of boxing?"

    Wow.

It's arguable if he ever beat Marquez on some personal scorecards across 4 fights and certainly not in half of them. His Morales rematches are not among the best in boxing history as you claim and nowhere close (they certainly rank below Zahir Raheem's W over Morales, haha).

I wish this bickering wasn't going on. Stupid to be constantly hating on one of their resumes. Don't like having to listen to clown talk.

Ortiz was only behind Mayweather and Pacquiao at WW at the time.

Guerrero was only behind Mayweather, Marquez, Pacquiao, and Bradley at WW at the time.

Maidana was only behind Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, Marquez, and Porter at WW at the time.

That means Ortiz was #3, Guerrero was #5, and Maidana was #6.

Cool story you have there. Will read again.

Prime Ledwaba, Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Márquez, Morales are some of the best wins in history of boxing.

then you can add David Diaz who is not #3, #5. #6 but the champion of WBC lightweight at that time

    Pacquiao by far

It really is no wrong answer both are the top guy's of this generation so it really comes down to prefrence. I personally prefer fighting champs off big win's not off losses so I say Floyd had the better comp. Pacquiao IMO has the "shock factor" for lack of better term so if you take Pacquiao well that's right also. To deny either as great would be a gross misjudgment of talent.
