Outside of Cotto what win is supposed to make either one of their resumes better? For Clottey you listed a career LW and Judah coming off a KO an suspension, for Margarito you list Cintron, Clottey himself and a green Martinez who at that point had been a boxer pro/ams for all of 15 fight's.

The thing is in two 10+yr careers that's the best either of them could do meanwhile guy's like Maidana/Guerrero are still active and already on that level and climbing.

Maidana getting a MD vs an old Mayweather is better than any win Margarito has had in his career.

Guerrero beat more top 10 WW's in 2 fight's there than Tony did in 17yrs at WW.

Let me put it this way: When it is all said and done, both men are retired and the smoke clears, Mayweather will be regarded as the greater of the two on the "ATG list."

    Time will prove me right.

You maybe right, and may 2 will be huge in that equation. You think it will be a blow out, but I think it's gonna be competitive, we will see.

Well, define "blow out," as that is different for everybody.

I don't think it'll be competitive on the scorecards and feel the outcome will be clear by the 6th/7th round, but it will be competitive in spots during the bout and anything can happen in boxing. Pac isn't an "easy fight." (I see an 8-4 type of decision for Floyd in all likelihood)

There is a difference between "making it look easy," and it "actually being easy." I anticipate the former. Floyd is on another level, and May 2nd will show this again.

Are we discussing their WW resune before pac and floyd fought them? Why are you counting maidana's fight with floyd? Before that, the only meaningful win that he has was over an overhyped broner at WW.

Margarito, Clottey, Cotto, Williams actually fought at an era where WW where fighting actual WWs and is waxing hot. Guerrero and Maidana climbed up from 130/135 when cotto and company all went up or retired. WW now aside from Pac, Floyd and Bradley is watered down. ****ing guerrero and ortiz got a floyd fight with a win over berto.

You've failed to explain what was so hot about WW. you just listed what I assumed you thought were notable wins and none of them were really notable. Berto is from the same era as Margarito only difference is Berto is still going.

Cotto is the only fighter you mentioned that did something worth a damn. You comment on Guerrero fighting at 130/35 and is now at WW 4 divisions up like it's bad, when Margarito got his ass kicked every time he moved up 1 division. A former FW Champ has more top 10 WW wins than a 17yr career WW in Margarito
that right there in a nutshell should tell you that Guerrero is better than Tony. Williams has won one title to his name and his best wins are debatable decisions vs Martinez, Lara. Maidana is a real 2 division world champ and didn't need any controversy to do it. As a whole Maidana has been in with better fighters than Williams and has beaten better guy's so yeah he's rates over P.Will. The fact that you try to add Clottey is a bit ridiculous he's the epitome of a nobody he is like Ortiz not worth mentioning.

Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana all got fight's because they beat reigning WW world Champs in decisive fashion something Margarito, Williams, & Clottey have never done. the closest was Margarito and he got caught cheating in his very next fight which makes you question the legitimacy of his only worth while win vs Cotto. I'm looking at each guy's total career not just a portion not a 6 month 1 fight period because between TM, P.Will, JC that's all they had a good 1 fight 6 month run where you could point to them and say they were legitimate fighters'.

So tell me why is beating broner or berto at WW any better than beating guys like cotto, mosley, margarito, williams, quintana and clottey?

Was Bradley p4p number three at the time? I've always rated Bradley but I thought most people favoured Khan to beat him at that point.

the fact that you act like all are on the same level shows you lack knowledge.
Cotto, Mosley, Broner have put in tangible work that a LEGIT win over them is good.

Margarito, Williams, Berto, Quintana, Clottey aren't sh*t really a win over them as a whole really isn't that big or only worth something for a small sample of time.

like overall a win over Margarito isn't sh*t but Mosley's win over him mean something because for 6 months he's was seen as legit comp. Just like overall a win over Berto isn't **** but Ortiz get's credit because he was the 1st to beat him while he was a title holder at WW. If Margarito didn't get caught cheating in his vs next fight after Cotto.

Multi division Champs vs guy's who could barley cut it in 1 division.

Baldomir was never a better fight or name then Morales a shot morales was a lot better fighter then even a prime Baldomir. Who is famous fora winning a close fight against Zap Judah. Under no context is baldomir a better win. And close fights are not a robbery.
