Canelo was the same size as Hagler when he fought Mayweather and lost. Hagler is beyond Canelo in skill and even power with a longer reach but Mayweather is one of the best defensive boxers in history.

Realistically Mayweather wouldn't fight Hagler but if they actually fought I'd give Mayweather a 35-40% chance

It is realistic in terms of size.
Agree May wouldn’t want any part of him. Haglers work rate and natural size would be too much for him in the end and his Jab would be bad news for Floyd. Hatton a small guy without a jab almost knocked him down with a jab, Haglers long ram rod southpaw jab would find a home more than Floyd is accustomed to.
Hagler could be taken out of his comfort zone by smart boxers which Floyd definitely is but there’s just no path to victory for Floyd, which I’m sure he’d know hence not taking the fight.

Firstly, Marvin had 2 inches of height and 5 inches of reach on Alvarez.

Alvarez was just enough green at 22 yrs old when he fought a master welter Floyd.

Marvin was 26 and had gone through the Philly stables among others, Briscoe, Finnegan x2, Watts x3, Seales x2, Monroex3, Eugene Hart...

    These are two different things.

Seeing as we’re making stuff up, I’ll go with Mayweather by KO in the first.

Hagler would have a better chance against Spinks than Floyd would against Hagler, and thats being completely " realistic "
