Would've Mayweather have demolished Taylor or would Taylor have given him problems? Either wayMayweather wins, at jr welter or welterweight.

This would be a classic fight...I can't honestly pick a winner Meldrick Taylor had extremely fast hands and he knew what to do with them Floyd is smart and has awesome Defense but....

    I can't call it

Would be a classic fight tho' straight up!!

It's really easy to say Mayweather right now with his brilliance so fresh in our minds, but this is a tough fight to call.

Are ya'll seriously gonna sit here and say Floyd Mayweather would just beat Meldrick Taylor lmao even i gotta laugh at that and i love Floyd 3 fights that are bad for Floyd Mayweather

Tommy Hearns he was long and solid hard puncher and great jab

Aaron Pryor he's everything Ricky Hatton wish he was on the 8th jus vicious
and Sugar Ray Leonard wanted no part of him

Meldrick Taylor speed pure speed his hands were quick and he hit hard
and he was an aggressive fighter

Floyd is technical but he has flaws I don't care to expose my man's I'm the biggest Floyd fan ever but we gotta keep it real its a few fighters that would give him some go and could possibly beat him but he's still one of the greatest ever

Mayweather UD in a tough as fight. Meldrick threw punches in bunches and he was lighting fast. I think he is even faster than Mayweather but I think Floyd is the overall package and would win on points.

No way it's as simple as Mayweather UD it just isn't. Taylor was to good in his prime and his speed would make Mayweather look slow. His solid chin, stamina and lighting fast flurries would give Mayweather fits. Taylor foot speed was just as good if not better then Floyd's.

    It's a pick em fight.

Good Post, bad avatar, clowns freak me out.

    1) I think Hearns would beat Floyd
    2) Pryor would too. That guy was amazing
    3) Taylor PBF, I'd go with PBF, but very close

I would still slightly favor Floyd...but it DEFINATELY would be a tough, VERY close fight.

I am surprised that no one is picking Floyd by knockout. I do think it is a possibility. Chavez, Espana and Norris all knocked out Taylor. Espana would easily be beaten by Floyd, but then again Espana was a terrible fight for Taylor.
