Woah Woah Woah...... Are you serious?
Any loss (or win) for Meldrick after the first JCC fight should be put into a totally different category with his pre-Chavez performances.

A totally different fighter and man. You should judge his prime fighting prowess before the JCC beatdown. After JCC = Void.

Pre Chavez Taylor makes 140lbs Lil Floyd look like a sucker, but post Chavez 147lbs Taylor struggles to survive four rounds with Floyd Jnr at 147lbs.

At 140 Meldrick Taylor would have been just as fast as Mayweather and this one would have a coin toss. Taylor has more of a tendency to mix it up, Mel wasn't a runner, and Floyd wouldn't have been able to run, Mel would have cut the ring off and forced Mayweather to fight. I think Taylor would have given Mayweather loads of trouble, but in the end Floyd would have found a way to take 7 of twelve for a close decision.

This one would have been non stop blinding action but I think Floyd would have adjusted to Meldrick's hand speed and still out boxed Taylor.

Awesome fight! (even if the actual FIGHT itself wasn't overly entertaining; although I'ma guy who finds a chess match entertaining).

PBF is nearly superior to Meldrick in nearly every aspect, however, barring speed and work-rate really.

    PBF close but clear UD.

I certainly think Floyd knocks out a post-Chavez Taylor. :good

Fair enough but don't forget that some of his post chavez fights that he won and retained a welterweight title.
