I do bro. Thats why Mayweather didn't want none back then btw, why is that such a weird opinion Cotto gave him a tough fight when he was faded and with a trainer that didn't match him well
Yeah a younger better version of PBF at his better weight loses to Cotto. Okay sure. Bob Arum wouldn't put Cotto within 2 time zones of PBF when both were at 140 back in the day.:deal
Things don't always revolve around Mayweather or what his condition is Styles make fights and I think that a prime cotto with that monster jab would break through the defense and beat up Mayweather As faded as he was when they actually fought, he still had success with the jab
If you want to call a tough fight a 9-3 UD win, then so be it. The only effective punch Cotto landed on PBF was his jab. PBF beat Cotto at his own game and gave him that work.:deal
Cotto gave him his best fight in years and as you said, his jab was working a younger, fresher cotto would be able to keep it up for the full 12 and kept it close for the full fight and in my opinion edged it
PBF wasn't prime when he faced Cotto. PBF's last prime fight was JMM. If you take a 2007 PBF he would beat the **** outta Cotto too much speed reflexes lateral movement and defense for Cotto to deal with. Back then it would have been much worse for Cotto. I'd be surprised if he won even 2 rounds against PBF back then.
A younger PBF was better than the version that faced Cotto not only that they fought at a 154 a weight that suited Cotto better than it suited PBF. PBF has never looked great at 154, even still he beat Cotto going away. At 147 PBF would probably shut Cotto out. PBF always beats any version of Cotto and if they fight again at 160 you will see another PBF win.
ask yourself this who was more shot Mayweather or Cotto? I think you must admit that Cotto was further removed from his best than Mayweather. Mayweather still looked pretty good at that stage.
