Can you imagine if these 2 squared up at Madison Square garden?:yikes (no pun intended)

The crowd would be insane!! I mean i just remember the roar at the Garden for the Cotto-Judah fight and i know it'd be even crazier with these 2!

From what i understand Floyd has never fought at the garden:huh Does anyone know why not? Anyway that would make it even more interesting for Floyd to have his Garden debut againest Cotto.

    What do you guys thing?

the Casinos pay too much money to have these fights in their arenas

no doubt it would happen in Vegas.

would be cooler at MSG of course

I think the fight will never happen because PBF is choosing money & fame over legacy.

That would truly be a great fight. Too bad it probably won't happen.

I think it would be a great venue to hold Mayweather/Cotto, but more than likely, MGM Grand would be the location (because of the amount of money casinos generate).

If it was at MSG, I'd definitely fly out to be there.

That's fine, but according to SkySports, Mayweather/Hatton II is up after Mayweather/DLH II. That's not right...

Floyd isn't an Eastcoast fighter. He doesn't have a natural fanbase out here. Furthermore, he was supposed to fight Spadafora at the Garden. However, Spadafora couldn't get licensed in NY because of his legal troubles. As far as a Floyd/Cotto fight, that would have to take place in Vegas.

It would be a great spectacle for boxing and a real quality fight, trouble is Mayweather isn't so sure he will beat Cotto so the fight will never happen.
Mayweather will stick to fighting guys he knows can't even come close to beating him. I hear he looks to be close to agreeing to a rematch with Hatton at Wembley stadium next year....That says it all about MoneyMayweather i'm afraid. 8)

Whoa- I just noticed that. Probably a year, considering I've been on a six-month hiatus from ESB. But I'm going to change it by the end of the day. :deal

If he has no fanbase, how come he keeps getting 8 figure paydays? That's an amazing accomplishment for a fighter with no fanbase.

Sounds to me like it will more likely be a pointless rematch with Hatton.
