If Ortiz deserved to get a shot at Mayweather, then so does Khan.

Khan at this point is quick fisted, fleetfooted 140lb fighter with defensive issues and questionable punch resistance. He's a viable fighter, but the fact that he hasn't done anything of note in Floyd's home division, and the fact that he's just as likely to get taken apart piece by piece as Cotto makes him a less credible name to face.

Maybe that might change in a couple of years. But for now, since May's fighting at WW and above, let's see him take on fighters who are established at the weight. It does more to help his legacy than a Khan fight would at this point.

There's too much income tax in New York, Floyd wouldn't fight there.

Wrong, it was Pac's fight with Marquez being so close that the coward probably wouldn’t have agreed to face him now (based on some rumors that the fight might happen) if the fight was one-sided in Manny's favor.

wouldn't it be hypocritical of Floyd to fight somebody that Pac has beaten since Floyd and his dickriders made such a big deal of Pac fighting "Floyd's leftovers"?

... and what's a little embarrassing for Floyd to take this fight now is that he had a chance to fight Cotto when he was still undefeated and dangerous.

Floyd don't and shouldn't get credit if this fight happens and he wins.
