Someone on another thread said Malignaggi would have given Floyd trouble prime for prime, so I'm seeing how many agree with that statement.

I think Floyd gives Malignaggi a boxing lesson. Just levels above in ring IQ. Malignaggi got his ass kicked every time he stepped up.

Floyd walks him down and stops him by the 8th or 9th rd.

Nah, Paulie was tough and took beatings for much harder punchers. But Floyd does school him.

Paulie's unorthodox swarming, in-fighting skills, and crushing power allow him to edge Mayweather over the distance.

Realistically, this is at the very least a Mayweather shutout.

Shows you people really don’t understand boxing here.

In what planet and by what reasoning can Pauli’s possible trouble Floyd? With what? Speed? Floyds faster. Reflexes? Floyds better. Reach? Floyds taller and longer. Skills? Floyd is 10 levels above.

It’s moronic. Statements by people who can’t see weaknesses and strengths in fighters and pair it up in their head to visualise how it could play out.

The Khan thing is another story, so is Paul Williams. But Paulie?

Get it think we have all felt like that about this forum before at some point and totally with you on the Paulie front. Do really like Paulie but it's a shame all the knowledge he has as a pundit normally bang on for me! does know his sh#t. Didn't reflect in some of his performances. Don't beat Floyd in my eyes

But slate us all about how we can't visualise a fight and then on the khan thread and have khan beating Floyd. No Mayweather fan actually the opposite but FM would of won both these.

Definitely be boring to watch like normal Floyd but was incredibly hard to land on and at times dictatated fights on the back foot. Not many can claim that respect his skill.

    Pot kettle black maybe

I think he takes a beating over 12. If Paulie wins one round he's lucky.

Paulie's boxing ability gets a little underrated here at times. In his prime he was out boxing cotto at points , even with a broken jaw. Still though, mayweather is a totally different animal and I cant see malignaggi having any success after Floyd analyzes his inventory after a four round adjustment period and completely takes over.

Paulie will try his best, but Floyd will dominate him in route to a decision victory.

I will have to rewatch the fight and get back to you. But from memory I thought it was a clear victory for cotto but paulie's boxing looked sharp and won him a few rounds. It surprised me at the time that he could hang with a strong puncher despite having very little power himself.

A boxing lesson is the perfect way to describe this. It'd be a beat down and Floyd stops him when Floyd wants to
