Floyd Mayweather vs Pernell Whitaker

    What do you all think this would look like? I watched Whitaker's entire career all the way from the '84 Olympics. And he was amazing, I not sure I ever witnessed him losing a fight until the very end of course. He clearly beat Chavez (even though it was scored a draw) and the Ramirez fight was a joke Sweet Pea dominated him. Even towards the end when he was well past it he gave Delahoya all he could handle. And in his prime whitewashed good champions like Azumah Nelson and Buddy McGirt. And he was of course a south paw and an amazingly gifted defensive fighter. I am not yet sure who I would favor in their primes. I am curious as to what you all think.

    No disrespect but there are a million threads about this fight.

    Whitaker at 135. Floyd at 147. Both by decision. Whitaker was one of the great ones who never got 100 % props. Floyd still has a chance to become one of the greatest fighters depending on his future fights. I am also new and this is a very good thread. Peace.
