A Maidana/Porter fight back in 2013-14 would have been a brawl

Porter gives him trouble in the first half of the fight, but Mayweather figures him out and wins a decision.

He beats both Pacquiao and Thurman with little trouble.

Pac was really never in the fight. In that sense, Mayweather schooled him.

Mayweather pretty much shut down Manny's offense.

It was not a matter of Mayweather out physicalling or over powering Manny. He just faught in a way that took away Manny's offense.

Maybe not exciting to watch but very effective and smart.

There's a reason why Floyd ducked Thurman when Keith was Floyd's mandatory for two years...

Am I the only one who thinks Pac would’ve lost regardless if he had his shot or not? It’s not like the fight was overly competitive and Floyd did what he always does to win. If anything, people should be upset with Manny for not really having a game plan and not being able to pull the trigger...

You mean when Keih was avoiding anybody with a pulse and Mayeather was unifying and fighting actual Champs?

It kills me how y'all give these fighters credit for avoiding every live body but calling out the big dog, you gotta out some work in to get promoted

He most certainly did not toy with Pac.

    Correct score was 8-4.

    7 - 5 and 9-3 are both possibles at a stretch.

Floyd's superior boxing skill won him the fight, one potshot at a time.

When he tried to engage, he quickly found out that he was no match for Pac in that department.

Still, the object of the game is to hit and not get hit, and by that measure, Floyd won comfortably.
