Floyd would lose because he wouldn't be active enough against Paul Williams. The guys who Floyd have done well against have been boxers, not guys who throw a lot of punches and make him work for 3 minutes of every round. I know Hatton fits this category, but I don't think he'll beat Floyd.

 

He was good but I was never very high on him.

 

He struggled with Castillo twice though. I guess it depends on the fighter, I just thought Chavez was a bit undersized for Floyd.

SRR destroys PBF at 147.

Seriously, if a 35ish DLH fighting above his best weight can lose an SD to PBF, SRR lays him out in brutal fashion.

Too big, too strong, too fast, better combos, amazing jab, arguably as smart.

I'd pay to see it, though - It'd be great to watch the Pretty Boy run for his life from a cold-blooded assassin that's after his ass.

A related question - who has PBF fought that was a truly world-class, dangerous, offensive monster? The best one he fought was Judah, who arguably was getting the better of him until the inevitable mental breakdown, Judah-style. Corrales and Castillo don't count - they were easily lured into slugfests (see their fights with each other) and SRR was 10x more skilled/smooth....PBF has proven he can beat crude come-forward guys who like to slug, but Sugar Ray would kill him.

 

He is a more talented WW. If he'd trained/been developed today, he'd hammer Floyd.

 

Floyd had zero trouble with Oscar. He won 10 or 11 maybe even 12 rounds. 9 if you want to be kind to Oscar.
