I picked PBF to win and predicted it would happen unanimously("SD officially, BS) from the day it was mentioned, but guess what??
DLH made it competitive and Floyd let rounds slip away by laying inactive on the ropes.:good Floyd won, but not nearly as dominantly as he had talked.

I respect other perspectives but I had it even after 10 rounds, and saw DLH do his usual nothing(except Quartey) in the last two and lose.

Oscar just created the illusion he was doing something. He is very tricky, the judges had no chance. But in reality Floyd landed more clean shots and harder shots.

It is not possible Floyd just edged every single round by a tiny margin? I don't score pity rounds just to even the fight up.

 

I agree with you on this oscar lost 9-3 easily, I can see 8-4 if you're a oscar lover.

the fight was easy work oscar looked decent in rounds 2,4,7 the rest of the fight he was too scared to let his hands go in the middle of the ring to be effective. the early flurries that missed don't win rounds. coming forward and getting hit doesn't win you a fight.

 

I couldn't agree more. Oscar's flurry punches didn't fool me. Clean,accurate punches are my biggest criterea. Oscar hardly landed any. There a few round in this fight where Floyd wasn't doing anything for like the first minute of the round and Oscar was winning by defaut. However, towards the middle and latter part of the round Floyd would go to work with straight, sharp,accurate punches, and then Oscar would end the round with another ineffective flurry. It's ****in disgraceful for a proffesional judge to be fooled by ineffective arm punches. 9-3 Floyd, 8-4 I can understand. The ******* who gave DLH 7 rounds should never be able to judge a title fight again

 

I'm glad there are people like you and China Hand Joe, who actually watch these fights and pay attention to clean,effective punching.
