Sergio said he could make 150 a few years ago in his prime, so 154 shouldn't be hard.

Sergio vs Floyd at 154 is not an unfair fight. Definitely not an unfair advantage like when Marquez came up two weight classes to fight an extremely oversized opponent.

Floyd would only be moving up one class (to a class where he has previously fought a few times) while real men like Hopkins immediately jumped two classes to fight Tarver. so if he's as good as people think this isn't unfair

    Who wins and why

Floyd UD. He would fight a boring fight and not take a chance of getting KO'd after seeing P-Dubb. It'd be ugly and boring, but he'd win, no problems.

Assuming he didn't suffer too much by losing the weight, Martinez by decision. Martinez knows how to use his range and coupled with his speed Floyd would have to take risks he is not used to taking to land shots. I don't think he'd be willing to commit himself enough to win the fight.

I think at Sergio's peak he was a tough threat. He is naturally bigger and carries a lot of speed and great foot work. Floyd still wins on points. SD or MD

In 2012 Martinez was 35/6 that ain't prime I'd favor Mayweather at 154 55/45 and Martinez at 160 by the same percentage. I see no point in this fight at 154 a weight drained Martinez vs Mayweather no thanks at or near 160 I think its a great fight and more significant with the MW Title on the line.

The Hopkins thing is kind of funny though Hopkins is great because he's fought at MW & LHW but Mayweather is avoiding challenges even though he's beat champs and HOFers from SFW, LW, JWW, WW, & JMW

Martinez easy via brutal battering. Martinez too quick, too powerful, would not wait on Floyd or respect him in the slightest. Huge mismatch, which is why the fight never happened.

Even Floyd Sr on the record as saying "uh uh, no.. no... I.... would strongly advise him not to" when asked about Floyd facing Martinez. Its also fairly well known that the person Floyd Jr listens to in regards to matchmaking is Sr. (for good reason)

Not questioning your assessment of how you think the fight plays out a big fast MW should KO Mayweather, but the Mayweather sr thing I don't think is 100% accurate if you've followed Mayweather's career you know Mayweather sr has only trained or been directly involved in about a total of 8/9 fights in jr's career including the last three. Roger imo has/had more influence in fights and he's personally been on record saying he want's jr to try for a MW Title in his final fight.

Jr fighting at MW in his last fight makes more sense than to keep going between 147-160 up and down that can mess a fighter up case in point R.Jones was never the same when he moved down after Ruiz

Martinez is closer to 168 now than 154. He's 40 and probably cant lose the weight, won't happen.

If it did, I like Mayweather in a sloppy fight No one will beat him with his hands at his waist.

floyd U.D. alot of people get caught up in martinez power after the paul williams KO. his hands down style is going to be exploited badly against a guy like floyd who is quicker and smarter. floyd would not jump all over him like paul williams did trying to get that knock out.
