I think even with a healthy knee, Maravilla would have never caught up with Floyd running away from that fight :bart

 

Tough call, Martinez is bigger and stronger, lefty, etc. But he's not all that good technically. I think it'd be similar to the Mosley fight, Martinez hurts him early and maybe even scores a knockdown, but gets picked apart later.

 

Floyd ducked him sergio said 80-20 split and could of gone lower 154 and floyd never even responded

Sergio KO. He would've gotten to Floyd at some point and taken him out. He would've had close to 20lbs on Floyd on fight night. Not to mention, in 2010, he was still close to his prime and had very good foot and hand speed. Not the shot Sergio who fought Cotto this year.

For some reason I feel like Martinez would have a big reach advantage enabling him to get away with the hands-down thing on the outside without Mayweather's accuracy becoming a problem for him - but listed on paper his advantage is only an inch. :blood

 

Would have been historic for Mayweather....should have happened and another missed opportunity.

 

Length-wise, the size difference isn't that drastic. It's their body mass, Martinez is naturally bigger.

and i think floyd would have boxed him. a middle weight beating floyd will never impress me because well its a middle weight. all they gone do is get outboxed and land a jesus punch floyd cant recover and get a ko. whoopie i want to see floyd get out boxed or get beat up. to have a guy that walks around 180 plus beat floyd just want impress me and never will.
