Floyd was being accused of ducking Paul williams. That is a fight where mayweather can't afford to get hit hardly at all.To me thats almost not even a real fight, thats a mismatch.Same thing with mayweather vs sergio martinez. If you have a fight where one guy cant really afford to get hit because of a big size difference, its not really fair.

That's the price you may have to pay for moving up in weight and trying to achieve greatness.

Just like Floyd fighting Marquez wasn't a fair fight. At least Marquez was game and at least Martinez or Williams would make their scheduled weight.

Mayweather vs.marquez may not have been fair, but in terms of getting hit marquez could afford to get hit by floyd.Mayweather cant afford to get hit by martinez.Thats the difference.

Paul gets hit way too much, he's too slow, and he has an awful jab. Maybe with his size and workrate he could've gotten away with one, MAYBE two of those red flags, but he's not overcoming all three of them. Not against Mayweather. I think Floyd takes him apart, and that's the stance I've always had on that fight.

Martinez is a tougher call, and that would be a fight I could see Floyd losing. Since Sergio's the MW king, that's also the bigger legacy fight. I'd love to see Mayweather-Martinez. Id like to see Floyd fight Paul too, but for a different reason- I think we'd see him put alot of skills on display against Williams he hasn't had to in a long time, so it'd still be an entertaining fight

Floyd couldn't afford to get hit by a welterweight Hearns neither. Does that means that fight if it were possible it would be unfair?

That is the price to read the stupic comments of the pac-morons here. Marquez 144-mayweather 146. Martinez 160-Mayweather 146!!!! The same as Mayweather baldomir Mayweather 146 Baldomir 160. Before you write stupid comments first read and educate yourself. Remember no catch weigh ala ped pac. Mayweather 147 de la hoya 160. Ped pac 148 and de la hoya 146.5 the day of the fight. That is a joke and a fraud!!!
