I wish we could go back in time and see this happen. They were amazing at this weight. Floyd by close decision. Very good fight!

Yeah I have seen many fights of Shane at 135 but my question is which impressive fighter did he beat at that weight? Because when I think of Shane's best victories there are at 147 .

Still not the answer to the question, though.

    Yeah, so?

And Mosley had close fights with DLH, Wright, Forrest and many others. All fighters ended up having close fights fighting different dangerous opponents. Ali had his share of close fights like Pacquiao did, Robinson, Leonard and all fighters. That's what makes them great. Last I remember Pac had an extremely close fight with Marquez and we all saw how Marquez' style looked against Mayweather's style.

Different styles bring out different results. I would expect you to know that by now.

God this fight would have been unbelievable. Floyd actually used to be exciting to watch back then, and Shane has always brought it. I say Floyd by close close close exciting UD.

His lightweight reign was ok, somewhat overrated by a section of his fans. Mainly because of how dominant he was but its not like it would have been that hard for an elite fighter to dominant that crop of fighters.

Floyd would have done just aswell...I dont see him having a hard time with a guy like Holiday.

Still I often find myself defending it rather then attacking it. Holiday was a solid champ and unbeaten. Leija and Molina were proven world class operators.

Those 3 were certainly better then Ndou and Sosa for reference.

Floyd's win over Castillo is bigger than any win Mosley ever had at 135 IMO. Phillip Holiday, good fighter and beltholder compared to Castillo, who was the lineal champion and had a better resume.
