As much as I'd like to see Mosley give him a walloping, I have to favour Floyd by a fairly close decision. Mosley can't really do too well against boxers. He likes to be able to set his feet and load up on (rather wild) power shots. His record bears that out. That's not the way you fight a runner like Floyd. I don't doubt that Shane (even at his current age) has the athletic ability to pull off a victory, but I just don't think it's in his nature to use the kind of tools that are needed to land consistently against Mayweather. Again, I wouldn't put it past him, especially with Nazim in his corner, and he has shown flashes of combination punching and the use of the jab. For now, though, I'm going with Floyd.
Mayweather wins ,should be good fight to watch.Mosley must have his best performance to make it close, but I think Floyd beats him decisively.
I expect PBF to school Mosley and win via UD. I just hope the fight happens and then see the winner face Pacquiao to finally rest claims about who is the best Welterwight in the world.
I would also say that Floyd wins by decision. I think Shane's best chance is to go for an early ko, impose his strength upon Floyd early and nullify his game plan. I don't rule anything out, Mayweather has very limited experience fighting people of the same standard as Mosley, and it's possible he'll get caught in a corner and unleashed upon. I doubt May can knockout Mosley, he'll land his trademark precision, lightning quick right crosses, but there's not enough force behind them to ko mosley. I think the key for Shane is to do the work as early on as possible, back May into a corner using a frequent jab then unleash what he can, while he can.
I disagree with what you are saying about the pressure. If you watch those fights Wright does not come in face first throwing bombs like the traditional view of a "pressure fighter"; however, he does come forward constantly behind the high guard & jab. We can agree to disagree though. Stylistically, Floyd and winky are very different imo due to the aforementioned points. I do agree that floyd and winky are defensive minded and difficult to fight, and I think I understand where you are coming from.
