Oh come on....has it come to this...Robinson would have good chances of stopping Mayweather.

I've never seen Floyd stunned so its hard to imagine anyone stopping Floyd, even the invincible God man with bricks for fists in Ray Robinson.

Now you're changing you're tone moron. You had said Floyd would make Duran quit, that's probably the most ridiculous thing ever said on this site. Now you're backtracking. You realized how big of a **** you are.

I've never seen Mayweather fight Robinson either so it's hard to say no either.

If Zab was able to stun PBF , SRR would beat him into oblivion. Floyd has not faced an elite fighter at welter and what makes you think he won't be stopped by the greatest and toughest welter ever. Come on. It is a huge possibility.

Mayweather has cracked the 500 punch count a few times.

And he's been on pace a few times for fights but the fight was stopped.

    But Mayweather loses to SRR.

Can you see Castillo beating Duran? An old De la Hoya taking SRR to a split decision? Hatton lasting 10 rounds with Hearns?

Granted, Mayweather is the best fighter of the last five years, has won belts at a few weights, but I'd be much more impressed if he had fought the best at each weight - Tszyu at 140, Cotto/Margo at 147, Williams at 154 etc. He doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as legends such as SRR, Duran, Hearns, SRL. They would all school him, not that he would take a fight against any of them.........

He blindly attacks Floyd. It's what he does. Don't worry about it.

Zab didnt stun Mayweather. He caught him with a punch then proceeded to punch himself out with Mayweather laughing in his face. As I said, I've never seen Mayweather even stunned, or momentarily hurt. Its clear Ray Robinson had a pretty good KO percentage at welter, not like he knocked everyone out he faced, but who did he face with Mayweathers defense. Name one fighter at 147 that you could compare. Unless you think Marty Servo was Mayweathers equal?

    Sugar Ray Robinson wins.
Floyd Mayweather is a very good boxer in his own right as well and will not be the walk through that some might think. He has a style that while not the most exciting is very efficitive and is desinged to be efficitive against offensive minded boxers. I call this "The Mayweather Trap". He gets his opoents to fallow him to the ropes and countrs them. It is why he beat Hatton and would beat Cotto and Margrito if they were to fight. The best way to beat Mayweather is to not fallow him to the ropes and get him to come to you. Yes this is easer said than done and it is no garntue of secauss as he can be very efficitive in the center of the ring as well. While styles make fights and on paper at least the styles favor Mayweather there is another factor in deciding who wins a boxing match. the boxer regaurdless of style who can impose his will onthe other boxer will win. That is what i think would happen From the footage I have seen of Robinson I would have to say he is the best offensive boxer that I have seen.
Robinson in a clear cut but competive decision.
