Floyd mayweather vs The Welterweight Division

i'll rank the guys who i think has the greatest chance to beat him:
1. Cotto - i still think that he has the best tools to beat floyd
2. Williams - tall and have high workrate could trouble floyd
3. Margarito - tall, relentless, chin and good ability to cut the ring
4. Pacquiao - ever improving game, has speed to match floyd and high workrate
5. Mosley - if he still has some left in the tank could give floyd a good fight
6. Berto - has the speed but lacks the experience
7. Clottey - could bully floyd but would likely be outboxed

None of them really, Floyd is one of the most smartest boxers ever, that’s what makes him what he is. He would go in a fight with many game plans for different types of opponents and out think them.

 

When Floyd left boxing Cotto, PW and Margo had titles but yet Fraud Mayweather called himself the best fighter alive. Funny thing is that he walked away with a division full of title holders he didnt want to get in the ring with. When he beat Hatton Larry Merchant asked him straight up if he has any plans for a Cotto fight. He didnt even respond properly cause the man was scared to say anything. How can he call himself the best fighter alive when there are clearly 3 other fighters in his own division saying the same thing? I dont care what Zab was, the dude is a straight up bum who got dropped twice by one punch. Then gets beat by a man who was selling feather dusters in the streets of his 'hood before getting into the ring Zab the gatekeeper. If that win impresses you then you might be impressed by Haye beating guys like Barrett as well. Face it, Zab is soft and Floyd is softer.

 

I agree, he was smart enough not to face any of them or else he would had a loss or two. :good

People kill me with this heart ****. Margo is a 154 pound fighter figting at 147 and they act as if he's GOD. The guy simply isn't that good without his size adavantage and he has a track record to prove it. Not only that he refuses to avenge losses but he's got heart? Please.:-(

 

He's just a bully picking on smaller guys. That B level figther Santos has been calling him out and he has yet to respond. In fact Santos brother went to his press conference after the Cotto fight and called him a chicken for not fighting Santos again.

 

Again, he makes the weight, he is not unnaturally big for 147lbs.

What the hell are you talking about? He is making the weight, its his issue, not yours.

 

It's an issue because people act as if it's not a key to his success at 147. He's proven that he can't beat bigger men and prefers the smaller fighters at 147.

 

Be a lot simpler if he actually fought and beat some of them instead of the Old joyboy idea of him beating them all by proxy and opinion.

Why not just set up a poll asking who he beats and getting a definitive answer that way?It would be another way to save Floyd the trouble and distress of having to actually enter the ring with any of them.I mean you guys wouldnt want anything as crazy as that would you,when Floyd can beat the entire WW division simply through fan threads.

He beats Pac and Mosley.Gets bludgeoned by PW and Margo.The rest are 50/50

 

He can't beat bigger men?

A lot of the ringside people had him winning against PW.

Lets be honest here, he's no P4P phenom, but he's a solid 147lbs'er. And if he makes the weight, he makes the weight, period.

if he can make the weight without performance enhancers than its all good that he's fighting at 147...With that said people on here think he could beat Floyd are dillusional...Boxer beats a brawler 9 outta 10 times!
