Absolutely, can't believe this joke of a thread is at 23 pages. FMJ can't win unless he changes his style, which won't help him as it negates all his advantages, if he has any in this particular fight. He's a fantastic fighter but Hearns is all wrong for him. Doesn't make him any less great. Every fighter who has ever lived has someone out there who is all wrong for them. For Floyd it's Tommy.
Hatton was a LWW. Ortiz wasn’t even defending himself. How are these examples relevant? On what planet would/could Floyd have knocked out Hearns? Are you serious? He didn’t have the power to do it, and there’s no way that he’d have gone after Hearns and fought him aggressively. Yeah, Floyd never hit the deck. But then he never faced Hearns or the kind of opponents that Hearns faced. None of your posts ever contain the relevant context needed.
Ha! Brilliant. Yeah, it’s ME that’s got the mental illness. Not you. Clearly. We’re all in the presence of a genius.
Anybody knowledgeable knows that it was due to the stylistic issues that he faced. Floyd didn’t possess the attributes of the guys who knocked him out. It has zero relevance when looking at how a fight with Floyd would have played out.
