If Floyd hurt Tommy he would finish him...he'd be scared not to!

Floyd doesn't have a prayer. Hearns is his nightmare. He would be coughing up bits of glove for weeks after the fight from all the rifle jabs he was munching.

I would also like to say.....Stamina has never been a problem with Floyd Mayweather...ever....it has with Tommy take that into consideration!

I don't think stamina would be an issue, if Hearns can outpoint Leonard for 12 rounds at 147, he could certainly do it to Mayweather.

Tommy's too big. PBF should probably be fighting 140 RIGHT NOW, and that's after he's gotten some years on him, even 140 isn't his peak weight.

What weight was Hearns fighting at when he was at the point of his career that PBF is in right now? 167?

I'm not going to get slayed for saying Floyd Mayweather is better than Sugar Ray Leonard:lol:

I will say i believe he's a smarter fighter than Leonard and that he would adjust better within a 12 round period...

He wouldn't get hit as much for one and I believe he's wise enough to clinch and tie Tommy up...he'd have to be aggressive kinda like when he fought Diego just a lot more clinching.

Ray won that first fight with Tommy because of his heart and Tommy's brain.

You make points Pro, but all the analysis means nothing in mythical matchups because really we don't know.

When you look at the styles and how good each fighter is or was you have to go with Hearns in this matchup...its just logical.

I know right I think Tommy would get him tho' it would hurt my heart but Tommy at 147 slept Roberto Duran like it was no problem and if he was to land that one on Floyd it would be a wrap but if he jabbed and moved he'd win anyway...it is what it is.

Hearns did have the discipline to fight a tactical patient fight. He did it against Benitez one of the best defensive fighters of all time.

Leonard is the epitome of an underrated puncher imo

floyd would a. either bid himself out of the fight by demand $25 million guaranteed to face Hearns b. say Hearns isn't a big enough name yet c. tell Hitman to wait 2-3 years when the fight makes better business sense or d. go into fake retirement and wait to comeback after Hearns loses.
mayweather would never get in the same ring with a FEARLESS BEAST with KO POWER like THOMAS HITMAN HEARNS.
