prime for prime, if these two met, who wins? Pretty Boy or the Viper?

Would have been interesting due to Forrest's height. Probably a fairly competitive decision win for Floyd.

Floyd by decision. Viper was good, but didn't have the ability to adapt, proven by Mayorga.

I would go with Floyd as much as I loved Vernon. Vernon would give him fits until Floyd figured him out.

I've always said I think a Vernon Forrest type fighter beats Floyd. Vernon 115-113.

Yes, cause Floyd had great power at WW, and Forrest was so easy to KO (proven by Mosley)

    Floyd by close decision

Vernon's height would've gave Floyd some problems and I could see him winning the early rounds but in the end I think Floyd figures him out and beats him by decision.

Actually I think stylistically I think Vernon would've given Floyd one of his
toughest fights ever. Vernon was great on the outside, great long, powerful jab,
great overhand right, he was also great on the inside and physically strong. Floyd
is strong as well but Vernon's height would've given him an advantage in clinches due
to leverage. Floyd couldn't hurt Vernon (impossible), but Vernon had more than enough
to hurt him. Vernon (shoulder permitting) would keep Floyd on the outside at bay and
    win a comfortable decision.

I've always thought style wise, Vernon, Lamont Peterson and Cory Spinks would be
    nightmare fights for Floyd.

I see Flayed foiling Vernon after Flayed finally figures Vernon out.

A prime welter at his best weight? Floyd never fought one.

A welter with greater height and reach than Floyd? Floyd ducked them too.

After Forrest beats Mosely, Floyd says "Vernon who?"

After Forrest loses to Mayorga, Floyd says "Forrest has a Mayorga problem."

Vernon basically had one gear, and was disrupted several times in his career, not just my Mayorga. Mayweather would win by using lateral movement and getting off first before Forrest could get set.
