Well said. Not a huge fan of Floyd but I totally agree, some people just dont understand the science of boxing. Watching the Floyd and Shane fight was just upsetting but damn did Floyd just amaze me how that fight turn out. Mentally he just breaks down fighters and seems to pull some tricks. We will see now with a young kid in his prime that will have the physical advantage, but menatlly were Floyd exceeds is going to be the key for this fight. I cant wait. Trust me UFC fights get very boring, I attended the last UFC event in Boston and there was more boos than anything, fighters in the floor killing time and catching air, it was a very an uneventfull night which my money was wasted.

They have a near one for me Lowell, MA:D but then again the last time I seen a boxing fight with a huge screen was the Judah/Floyd fight in Boston. There was a group of girls behind us talking and cursing about their boyfriends and calling them and giving **** and all sets of personal problems.

So Fathom Events hasn't updated the list in almost a month now...which means what was posted on the last page is pretty much final.

If you don't see your theater there, it isn't showing Star Power.

Fortunately, I have been offered a ride to Patriot Place in Foxboro (only about 15 miles past Legacy Place in Dedham, but unlike Legacy Place not bus accessible). So IB is back on track to sit in luxurious style to watch in brilliant digital projection. :D Ya hear that, bitches? NO RBR! :tong (not that the forum will even be usable with all the traffic)

Of course, if they have WiFi in the theater...I could bring my laptop...:blood :think :!:

Where are my south-of-Boston peeps? pistal? Russell? Are we going to roll deep in the Krafts' playland or what?

Will you be debating from the position that he is in fact a gorilla, or will you advocate that he is instead a dog?

...or will you posit that he is some different taxa? Mabye something arboreal, since neither a gorilla nor a dog can really be said to have the ability to climb and "conquer" a tree?

    Possum? Spider ******? Sugar glider?

He's definitely a gorilla. But mostly i'll probably take very absurd stances, accuse Floyd of being a ***le, etc.

FYI: the big-screen show starts at 9pm EST.

It is only the PPV being shown (lineup and running order below)

~ 9pm EST - Jessie Vargas vs. Josesito Lopez
~ 9:45pm EST - Erik Morales vs. Pablo Cesar Cano
~ 10:45pm EST - Saul Alvarez vs. Alfonso Gomez (from California on split-site broadcast)
~12am EST - Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz

(approximate times assume everything goes the distance)

So if Golden Boy streams the deep undercard online as they sometimes do before a PPV (although Top Rank is more consistent in doing so) - anyone who goes to the theater is S.O.L. If you want to see the low-level undercard streamed on GBP's website, you need to stay home. That includes:

    Adonis Stevenson vs. Dion Savage
    Anthony Crolla vs. Juan Montiel
Marco Antonio Periban vs. Dhafir Smith
Kyrone Butler vs. Cassius Clay (?!)
    Said Ouali vs. Carson Jones
