    Fight wasn't close at all. Maybe an argument can be made that Ortiz was doing better as the fight progressed but I sincerely believe he would have at best won a couple of rounds.

    Ortiz was getting worked. Its not often that Mayweather has his opponents retreating as early as he had Victor doing it.... Mayweather was on his way to stopping Ortiz down the stretch, if Ortiz didn't foul out first.

    On a sidenote, that's a badass fight. One of my favorite mayweather fights actually :lol: I also think its an underrated win. Ortiz would have given most fighters of the new era, at 147, a tough fight win or lose....

    Ortiz was using movement and picking his spots!! He had a gameplan as well... Or do you just pay attention to Floyd when he fights!

    1. It wasn't a close fight, floyd won the first 3 rounds.

    2. Ortiz is on the biggest stage against the best fighter in the world and decides to lean in and hug mayweather like they're bff's. Ortiz is an idiot and deserved that knockout 100%.

    Picking his spots? Gameplan?? Did you seriously watch that fight? Ortiz looked lost and uncomfortable, then the 4th rd he gets so frustrated that he throws a blatant headbutt but the fight was close? Are you a *******/floyd hater?

    I rewatched the fight. When I first saw it I thought Ortiz wasn't doing too bad and how wrong was I. TS is talking complete BS the first round was the best Ortiz had and I don't understand how Letterman could possibly score the second which was better for Mayweather than the first for Ortiz. The commentating was horrible they praised Ortiz when Mayweather landed because he was so "tough" and praised him for punching mostly air when Mayweather was against the ropes. Mayweather even started to walk him down in the second or 3rd round he walked down someone who outweighed him by 14lbs and they still didn't praise him. It was a masterful performance by Floyd and ortiz was getting really desperate since he lost the rounds and was even getting walked down even though he thought he could pressure Mayweather, he was getting outclassed
