I swear to mother ****in god this fight is going to look like Mayweather vs Corrales all over again... Mark my crazy ass words but thats whats comming...
you can all hate but lets face it this is better than clottey margacheato and a old washed up mosley ! war floyd war !
First 6 rounds will be competitive due to Floyd's inactivity plus Ortiz is a fast starter, but after that I would be surprised if Floyd dropped a round. Floyd to win by 10 rounds to 2.
Floyd wins....stylistically Ortiz is tailor made for Floyd....but even deeper than that....Floyd is faster, bigger, stronger and more talented. Floyd could beat Ortiz on his experinece alone but when you factor in all the chips that stack well against Ortiz, you see this fight is a complete mismatch...like PAC vs JMM or Floyd vs Shane.
This is a good fight. One that I think Mayweather will win by comfortable UD but at long last it'll be nice to see Floyd step into the ring once again, albeit not against Pac. Im prediciting that Ortiz may well be "competitive" for the first 6 rounds. He has shown tremendous ability to pressure opponents in recent bouts right from the onset, but I think Floyd's going to adapt his usual tact of taking his time in rounds 1-3, perhaps letting them score even before he gently accelerates up to 3rd gear in round 3 ,then cruises home at 1300rpm in 4th from round 6 onwards for an 8-4, 9-3 UD. Reason being, I can't help but revert back to the Maidana fight. It might be wrong of me to over-emphasise on this fight, but Victor showed a lack of heart in giving up. I believe he'll face much greater but mental adversity against Floyd, and expect his effort level to drop once Floyd figures him out and starts landing those punishing counters. Nevertheless, very much looking forward to Floyd making what should be a highly entertaining return.
While I think Floyd is faster and more skilled and will win this easily, him being bigger and stronger may be a joke. Ortiz is 5'9 162 fightnight, 170+ walkaround weight. Floyd is really just over 5'7 in reality and maybe 160 when he isn't fighting.
I don't see Floyd stopping Victor. Anyone who thinks Victor can't take a hit is dead wrong. The kid is sturdy. Floyd will be on the guard and counter until Victor mentally gives up.
Nah....Floyd is bigger and has more strength. They're the same height from stats I've seen but Floyd is broader in the shoulders having more fights at 147 than Vic. ORtiz has more PUNCHING POWER, but he won't be able to move Floyd around like he could with some Jr WW he's run through in the past. Floyd is a long time Welter Weight..he's solid at that weight and is accustomed to the division. Ortiz is not...YET! He can definitly carry the weight but having only one fight doesn't automatically make him a legit WW.
It will be competitive for a few rounds then Floyd skills will take over and Ortiz will get tired from missing and getting countered. Floyd TKO 10!
